Calling all mamas who are fit, want to be fit or have been fit. This blog is for you. Fitness, wellness, exercise, etc... have always been a part of my life and at this point in my life (Almost 42 with 4 kids)I have settled on a few principles about health and wellness.
1. The best exercise is the one you are going to stick with consistently. Exercise will help shape your body and release endorphins- feel good hormones.
2. Eat breakfast (your mom was right!) like a king, lunch like a queen and dinner like a pauper.
3. An ounce of prevention= more than a pound of cure- don't wait for a magic pill or procedure.
4. Cake Happens! Get over it. One piece of cake, cookie, cheesecake does not= total failure and complete doom.
5. Learn something new everyday- nourish your mind as well as your body.
6. Your kids see EVERYTHING- they are watching you!
7. Be kind to yourself. You are worth the time, the energy, the money!
